All too short vacation

Well Alex and I finally got a few days off from work. Unfortunately we only had four to work with. We had to ditch our original plan to go to Ripley's Believe It or Not in Branson due to massive flooding.

In any case, we went to Six Flags in St. Louis. The rollercoasters were even more fun than ever, including the Mr. Freeze, which was the first roller coaster to ever scare me. It shoots out of the dock and flies straight up in the air, right back down, straight up, then does the whole thing backwords... It's freaky!

Day 2 we went to the St. Louis Zoo and saw many interesting animals. We also failed to see many of them since they were either hiding or not present. A couple of my favorites were the penguins, giraffes, zebra, and polar bear butt.
